Victoria has been working in the mental health and addiction field over the past 7 years since leaving University with an honours degree in Psychology. During her time spent working in addiction, Victoria was introduced to the practice of mindfulness. Since this time Victoria has become extremely passionate about incorporating mindfulness into both her professional and her family life.

Over the past two years Victoria has been working in primary and intermediate schools as a certified Mindfulness Practitioner teaching children how mindfulness can empower them and support them to flourish.

Victoria started up a business in 2015 aimed at supporting fellow mums to live more mindfully and stay as sane as possible during the roller coaster ride that is motherhood. She runs mindfulness based workshops around New Zealand and also facilities online programmes and support groups.

Having her degrees in Psychology has not meant that Victoria has been swept up with numbers and statistics. Believing that knowledge, mindfulness, gratitude and support systems are the back bones of good health, Victoria is also a strong and passionate advocate for a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Victoria is all about yoga, meditation, music 50 years her senior and pretty anything “hippy”.

Victoria’s plans for 2017 involve further addiction study and working with women and trauma with a leading New Zealand NGO service.

She lives in Hamilton with her husband Andrew and their crazy, but, “lucky they’re cute” children Sophia 10, Astin 6 and Luka 3.
